On clean, damp hair, apply the curl activator section by section, evenly through the lengths and ends. For more volume control, apply near the roots as well. Detangle with a wide-tooth comb, then scrunch upward from the ends toward the roots. Repeat the scrunch-and-release motion as needed to help form the curls.
