Orfeu Award Winning Coffee

Orfeu entered the Specialty Coffee market in 2005, cultivating beans of selected quality in the high mountains of southern Minas Gerais State at Fazenda Sertãozinho, a place with more than 67 years of coffee farming tradition.

The roasting plant was conceived and built on the farm itself, to complete the production cycle and deliver directly to customers a high quality, fresh product. The production unit is acclimatized and has state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the final quality of the product during the roasting, packaging, and shipping process.

The farm's symbol is a 1,500-year-old Jequitibá Rosa, an ancient tree that symbolizes longevity, respect for nature, strength, tradition, and Orfeu's history.

Certifications and awards
Orfeu is the most awarded Specialty Brazilian coffee in the world, holding important titles such as Cup of Excellence, Coffee of the Year at the International Coffee Fair, and Late Harvest Competition in Switzerland.

Farms
Today, Fazenda Sertãozinho is recognized for its tradition of over 67 years of coffee farming. The properties are certified by the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and by the UTZ socio-environmental management system.
