After shampooing, squeeze out excess water and spread the conditioner along the mid-lengths and ends, keeping it away from the roots. Massage through for two to three minutes, detangling with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Use at every wash, and alternate with the matching Banho de Verniz mask once or twice a week for a more intense shine.

The cationic conditioners lay down first, smoothing the raised cuticle so the comb glides through wet hair. Panthenol and glycerin then draw water into the fiber, while flaxseed oil, shea butter and the argan, macadamia, olive and avocado oil blend seal that moisture in with a light emollient film. Because the surface is left flatter and more even, light reflects instead of scattering, which is what produces the varnished, mirror-like shine the Banho de Verniz line is named after.
