Ingredients explained
Deep-Cleansing Surfactants
Powerful yet careful cleansing agents that effectively remove styling product residue, oils, and impurities from the scalp and hair without damaging the hair fiber.
⚠ Caution: For cosmetic use as directed.
Chelating Agents
Ingredients that bind to and neutralize mineral deposits from hard water, leaving the hair free from build-up and ready to absorb treatments effectively.
⚠ Caution: For cosmetic use as directed.
Scalp-Comfort Additives
Conditioning and soothing ingredients that help maintain scalp balance during deep cleansing, reducing dryness and leaving the scalp feeling comfortable and refreshed.
⚠ Caution: For cosmetic use as directed.
How they work together

The deep-cleansing surfactants lift and remove styling residue and impurities from the hair and scalp, while the chelating agents simultaneously neutralize mineral build-up that can block hair treatments from working effectively. The scalp-comfort additives then restore balance and soothe the scalp after deep cleansing, resulting in thoroughly purified hair that is primed and ready to receive any follow-up treatment.

COMPLETE TREATMENT KIT Gold Spell Co. Alisei & Fioterapia Essential Alignment Bundle: Perfect Smoothness & Deep Cleansing for Brazilian Blowouts (Kit Alisei & Fioterapia Essencial) - 1250ml This product and the steps that go with it, in one kit €411,95 See the kit

Gold Spell O Shampoo Purificante – 8.45 fl oz (250 ml) is the deep-cleansing first step of the Brazilian Gold Spell ritual, in its unmistakable pink bottle. Enriched with a synergistic blend of botanical extracts, hydrolysed proteins and vitamins, it does more than wash — it prepares.

Each wash clarifies the hair fibre of build-up, residue and product film, opening the way for everything that comes next to be absorbed to the fullest. That is why it is the shampoo the brand specifies before an Alisei by Fioterapia smoothing application, and why it works just as well as a weekly reset in any routine.

Think of it as the difference between washing your hair and priming it: a purifying cleanse with biofunctional actives that leaves the fibre genuinely ready for treatment.

Key Features:

  • Deep purifying cleanse: Helps remove residue, build-up and product film that accumulate along the fibre.
  • Preps hair for treatment: Leaves the fibre ready to take up masks, smoothing treatments and leave-in care more fully.
  • The step before Alisei: The shampoo Gold Spell specifies as the wash before an Alisei by Fioterapia application.
  • Hydrolysed proteins: Protein fractions small enough to work along the fibre, a classic choice in professional prep shampoos.
  • Botanical extracts and vitamins: A synergistic blend that keeps the clarifying cleanse from feeling stripping.
  • Generous 250 ml bottle: 8.45 fl oz of professional-grade prep, enough for a full course of treatments.
  • Salon and home use: Used in Brazilian salons before smoothing services, and at home as a weekly reset wash.
  • Brazilian professional care: Developed and manufactured in Brazil by Gold Spell, and not tested on animals.

How To Use

  1. Wet the hair: Apply a small amount of O Shampoo to damp hair.
  2. Massage gently: Work it through the scalp and lengths until it lathers, then rinse.
  3. Repeat before treatment: When prepping for a smoothing service, wash twice, then dry the hair completely before applying the treatment.

Expert Tip: Do not confuse O Shampoo with the Gold Spell Shampeeling: Shampeeling comes in a bronze bottle and is the exfoliating scalp shampoo, focused on the scalp itself. O Shampoo is the pink bottle and is the purifying prep shampoo, focused on clarifying the hair fibre before a treatment.

Ingredients (Highlights)

  • Hydrolysed proteins: Protein fractions widely used in professional shampoos to help condition the fibre during a clarifying wash.
  • Botanical extracts: A synergistic natural blend that supports the purifying cleanse.
  • Vitamins: Included in the formula to round out the prep step and help keep the cleanse comfortable.

About Gold Spell

Welcome to the world of Gold Spell, a Brazilian professional hair and body care brand from the Goold group, based in São Paulo, Brazil. The brand builds focused ranges — DNAPLEX for reconstruction routines, Fioterapia for smoothing rituals, CachoNut for curls — and formulates them for salon professionals as much as for at-home routines.

Every Gold Spell product is developed and manufactured in Brazil and regularized with ANVISA, the Brazilian health authority, for the Brazilian market. Gold Spell states that its products are not tested on animals at any stage. MKPBR sources these products in Brazil and ships them worldwide in their original packaging, so what arrives is exactly what is sold in Brazilian salons.

FAQ

How is this different from Gold Spell Shampeeling?

Different products, different jobs. Shampeeling is the bronze-bottle exfoliating scalp shampoo, aimed at the scalp. O Shampoo is the pink-bottle purifying shampoo, aimed at clarifying the hair fibre so treatments absorb better.

Do I need it before the Alisei smoothing treatment?

Yes — the Alisei by Fioterapia instructions start with washing the hair with O Shampoo and drying it completely before application. It is the prep step the routine is written around.

Can I use it as my everyday shampoo?

It is a deep-cleansing shampoo, so most people use it as a weekly or pre-treatment reset rather than daily, and follow it with a mask or conditioner.

Should I follow it with a conditioner?

Outside of a smoothing prep, yes — follow with your usual conditioner or mask. When prepping for a treatment, skip the conditioner so nothing coats the fibre.

Is the packaging in Portuguese and do you ship worldwide?

The 250 ml bottle is labelled in Portuguese as sold in Brazil. MKPBR ships authentic Brazilian hair care worldwide with tracking and a clear returns policy.
